Our general ambition is to take the clients current lifestyle, individual preferences, needs and goals as well as personal circumstances, environment, work, study, family and social commitments into account when creating a realistic “action plan” and “exercise programme“.
We go through your health and fitness history, you need to fill out a brief health screening form and you will get a pre-questionnaire which will allow you to be clearer about your goals.
We aim to focus on - Advice – Education - Support - Motivation.
Your input is needed, as this will allow us to create together with you a programme, strategy or plan that works for you. We meet for an initial consultation which takes between 60-90 minutes sometimes even a bit longer. I believe strongly in initially taking a bit more time to identify the clients needs and goals.
You will have a list of action steps and a medium term plan at the end of the first session. You will be able to implement some of these action steps immediately, others will need a bit more preparation. This plan will help you to focus on your outcomes, goal and keeps you on track so you can achieve your ambitions.
The action plan could include exercises, changing or adjusting your diet, looking at
motivational techniques, introducing NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming),
planning your meals etc..
The more realistic the program and action plan are the more likely you are to be able to stick to it and achieve your goals and be successful.
You might do one session a month to get a programme and do the exercises at home or you could book a bi-weekly session or do one, two session per week it really depends on you.
You will benefit from the expertise that I gathered since 2002 in the fitness and health industry in Dublin as Personal Fitness Trainer, Pilates Instructor, part time gym manager, business owner and from the experience that I gathered through over 17 years of long distance running and triathlon 1990 – 2008.
